Jessica D'Ambrosio, Program Manager
Andy is a professor in the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering at The Ohio State University. Andy is a registered professional engineer and a member of the American Society of Agricultural Engineering and the Soil and Water Conservation Society. He is a co-author of the book Environmental Hydrology. He has 25 years of international experience as a consultant and a professor. Andy has taught many courses and workshops relating to hydrology, channel hydraulics, stream geomorphology, stormwater management, and methods to protect water resources.
Jessica is a program manager for The Ohio State University’s Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering. She has a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and currently is working toward a PhD in soil and water engineering. Her work focuses primarily on the influence of habitat, land use, water chemistry, and geomorphology on aquatic biology in Ohio streams and ditches. Jessica’s current projects include studying the effectiveness of alternative best management maintenance practices in agricultural drainage ditches and developing multi-media web-based learning tools for streams and rivers.
